The construction work of Fatikchari Government Technical School and College was completed in 2020 under the 'Establishment of 1 Technical School and College in 100 Upazila Project' under the implementation of the Directorate of Technical Education of the Department of Technical and Madrasa Education of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. The education program started from 2021 with the aim of developing educated and skilled human resources in technical and vocational education.
